We created Dogs on the Run because we love our pets and wanted a place where people could feel safe leaving their dogs and know that they will be treated with love and respect. Just like one of our own. We are family and locally owned. We are AKC certified, CPR trained and licensed.

It depends on the package and your pet’s needs, but most sessions take 1.5–3 hours.
What if my pet is nervous or anxious?
Our groomers are trained to handle nervous pets with patience and care. Let us know, and we’ll take extra time to make them comfortable.
Can I stay with my pet during grooming?
For safety and to keep your pet focused, we recommend waiting in our cozy lounge area.
How often should I groom my pet?
It depends on their breed and coat type, but most pets benefit from grooming every 4–6 weeks.
Do I need an appointment for grooming?
Yes, all grooming services are by appointment only. We do not accept walk-ins. This allows us to give each pet our full attention and ensures they're groomed in a timely, low-stress environment — no long waits in cages!
Why don’t you take walk-ins?
We believe every pet deserves personalized care. Scheduled appointments help us reduce wait times, minimize stress, and keep your furry friend safe, comfortable, and happy.
How do I cancel or reschedule an appointment, and what if I miss it?
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please call or text us at least 24 hours in advance.
Missed appointments without prior notice will incur a $20 no-show fee, and you’ll need to settle the fee before booking your next visit.
